Were-raven

The camp sat in silence, only the crackling fire keeping the dark at bay while the children slept. Men stood guard, taking sleep where it came, yet the missed one of their own as she stole through the camp, taking trinkets and food as she went. Her hair was no longer smooth waves of coal-dark silken strands, but jumbles of iridescent black that shuffled as she moved.
