The papyrus backing compliments it very well.
That aside, I want to note that I LOVE the inclusion of Ammit in the background; really dig the texture on her face. Also like the symbolism with the scales and the feather of Ma'at. You did a good job with the overall theme and feel, needless to say. The accents on Anubis are wonderful; not overwhelming but just right in the touch they add - really no reason to overdress the entity considering his task and most of the stuff I saw had him as a fairly simple figure to begin with.
